Why We Built This Site
Alabama's record systems do not form one public file. The Chambers County sheriff and detention facility create arrest and booking material. The Circuit Clerk keeps filed charges, case events, dispositions, and sentences. ALEA maintains identity-linked state criminal history, while the Alabama Department of Corrections and the state registry cover different post-court records. Bringing the verified request routes, fees, contacts, and search limits together makes those boundaries easier to follow.

An official record must come from its custodian, such as the sheriff, Circuit Clerk, or ALEA. This site can only identify that source.
